Silvio I is also sire of important stallions such as Sergeant Pepper I+II, Silvercup, Sir Holtrup, Sir Shutterfly, Sir Landadel and many others, but, above all, he is the father of the extraordinary Shutterfly (CSIO), Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum’s main horse and of Sirius, Scampano , Snoopy and Santander just to mention some of his sons competing at international level. His mother Comtesse descends from one of the most important Hanover damlines and competed up to cat M. Comtesse is also the mother of the stallions Eclypso D.C. (international winner in CSIO with Filippo Moyersoen) and Gratus D.C. The full sister to Comtesse, St.Pr.St. Caprice produced the stallions Lambourghini Diabolo (Fritz Fervers) and Lomitas (Toni Hassmann) who compete in international show jumping competitions and the stallion Schwarzenegger who won in dressage Grand Prix. From the same important damline descend the mare H.D. Sunrise (Imke Schellekens -Bartels, NED) who won team gold medal and individual bronze at the 2007 European dressage Championiship, Elwood who competes with C.Otto Nagel in international show jumping competitions, El Paso, the 2003 German champion in the class of five year olds and the stallion Kronos du Quilly (ISO 148) who competed in CSIO with Hubert Bourdy and Eric Navet just to mention some. PERFORMANCE In 2005, at the age of 3, Silvaner D.C. won in free jumping at Hollenstedt with the score of 8,8. In 2006, at the age of 4, he won more than 370,00 euro in cat. A and L (1,25m), finishing in 8th place at the Hanover Championiship finals. In 2007 on the occasion of his first show, at the age of 5, Silvaner D.C. won with the score of 8,6 and on his second show he won with the extraordinary score of 9,0 competing up to cat.M (1,30m). PRODUCTION Silvaner D.C. impresses everyone with the correctness and the elegance of his model and the elasticity of his gaits. In 2007, thanks to his strength and his perfect technique in jumping, he was approved stallion for the Zangersheide studbook. 2008 is his first riding season.
